You have a dream planted deed within your heart. Every opportunity you find that will nurture, develop,and give birth to your dream, you investigate. But what happens when you share your dream with someone who is not yet ready to receive it? Instead of giving you the encouraging words you’re seeking, you receive discouraging words. Has God ever closed a door in your life that you were unable or not yet ready to close? When that happens in my life, I consider it as God’s grace and mercy to me. I may be satisfied with my present position but God is not satisfied. He seeks my good and gently nudges me in the direction I should go by closing doors.

Spiritual growth and spiritual transformation are great, but have you ever felt "stuck" spiritually? It’s like treading water, you’re not going backwards but you’re not going forwards either. You’re doing the things you are supposed to do but you still aren’t making spiritual progress.

Emotional affairs turn us from our primary love. We become so attached emotionally to someone else or something else that we justify in our minds that we are right because our needs are being met. Surely God wants us to be happy, right?

In the first seven houses on my street, my house included, five couples have divorced. They hurt and I hurt for them. The families you come to know and like are suddenly no longer part of the neighborhood or no longer as active in community events.

Is Spiritual Growth the same as Spiritual Transformation? Many Christians view themselves as being changed spiritually and making an impact upon others and the world around them when they read and study the Bible.They enjoy learning the truths of Scripture and happily share them with others. Is reading and studying the Bible the only requirement for a transformed life?
